The 13th international conference on Public Health among Greater Mekong Sub-Regional countries on "Enhancing transdisciplinary collaborations on Education and Research to tackle priority public health issues in the new Era" has following objectives:
An abstract should be in one paragraph with no more 350 words, describing the major aspects of the entire paper in a prescribed sequence that includes: 1) Introduction: The overall purpose of the study and the research problem(s) you investigated; 2) Objective(s): The outcomes that you aim to achieve by conducting research; 3) Method: The basic design of the study; 4) Results: Major findings or trends found as a result of your analysis; and, 5) Conclusions: a brief summary of your interpretations and conclusions. Workshop on qualitative data analysis applied Methods for Community Health ReseachThe workshop took place over three days from November 28-30, with a focus on the following topics: • Approaches in qualitative data analysis and interpretation Participants came from different medical universities around the nation, Community Health Stations, Health Centers and Faculties and Departments of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy. The workshop featured lecturers from both Australia and Vietnam, including Dr. Le Minh Giang (Ha Noi Medical University), Dr. Nguyen Van Huy (Ha Noi Medical University), Linda Murray (University of Tasmania, Australia )and Prof. Michael Dunne (Queensland University of Technology, Australia). Professor Michael P Dunne (Co-Director of ICCCHR, left) and Workshop organisers believe the proceedings met their objectives and the expectations of participants through discussing the essence of qualitative research and developing understanding of qualitative approaches and methods, especially in community health research, common pros and cons of data analysis and how to present the results of qualitative research.
