An abstract should be in one paragraph with no more 350 words, describing the major aspects of the entire paper in a prescribed sequence that includes: 1) Introduction: The overall purpose of the study and the research problem(s) you investigated; 2) Objective(s): The outcomes that you aim to achieve by conducting research; 3) Method: The basic design of the study; 4) Results: Major findings or trends found as a result of your analysis; and, 5) Conclusions: a brief summary of your interpretations and conclusions.

The 4th International Health Literacy Conference: Call for Abstract

 

The Asian Health Literacy Association (AHLA) is pleased to announce the 4th International Health Literacy Conference: Health Literacy and Quality of Healthcare Services, to be held in Haiphong, Vietnam, during Nov. 7th to 9th, 2016.           The AHLA has been fully supported by more than 40 academic professional institutions in more than 30 countries in Asia and around the world, has been established in Geneva Switzerland since 2014. The AHLA is an independent multinational non-governmental organization that seeks to study and conduct research, education and policy implantation in health literacy levels across Asia. The association seeks to encourage dialog among researchers, officials, healthcare organizations as well as experts in health and education, corporations and media that can develop better interventions in health education and services.
      The Asian Health Literacy Association has organized 3 international conferences on “Better Healthcare: Health Literacy and Better Healthcare: EU and Asia”, in Nov 20th -22nd, 2013 in Taipei, Taiwan; “Health Literacy and Health Promotion”, in Oct 6th – 8th, 2014, in New Taipei City, Taiwan, and “Health Literacy and Healthcare Efficiency” in Nov 9th- 11th, 2015, Tainan, Taiwan. These events have been participated by more than 400 global experts, scientists, and policy makers.
            The 4th International Health Literacy Conference: Health Literacy and Quality of Healthcare Services, will be hosted by Haiphong University Medicine and Pharmacy, supervised by the Vietnam’s Ministry of Health, and co-organized by Hanoi Medical University, Hanoi School of Public Health, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Viet Duc University Hospital, Thu Duc Hospital, and other national and international partner institutions.
            The main themes of the Conference will include:

  • Health literacy and safety medication (prescription, and vaccine)

  • Health literacy and effectiveness of medical services

  • Health finance, universal health coverage and health literacy

  • Health literacy and health policy

  • Health literacy and community health services (primary health and family medicine)

  • Health literacy in the aging populations

  • Non-communicable diseases and health literacy

  • Health literacy emerging infectious diseases

The Conference would like to invite you submit your related work from this day till July 31st, 2016,
and announce the acceptance of the abstract by Aug. 31st, 2016.
