The 13th international conference on Public Health among Greater Mekong Sub-Regional countries on "Enhancing transdisciplinary collaborations on Education and Research to tackle priority public health issues in the new Era" has following objectives:
An abstract should be in one paragraph with no more 350 words, describing the major aspects of the entire paper in a prescribed sequence that includes: 1) Introduction: The overall purpose of the study and the research problem(s) you investigated; 2) Objective(s): The outcomes that you aim to achieve by conducting research; 3) Method: The basic design of the study; 4) Results: Major findings or trends found as a result of your analysis; and, 5) Conclusions: a brief summary of your interpretations and conclusions. Meeting with Dr.Catherine Maternowska - Senior Research and Evaluation Specialist of UNICEF OfficeOn October 7, 2016, The Board of Directors and staff of the Institute for Community Health Research(ICHR) and Faculty of Public Health – Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy organized the meeting with Dr.Catherine Maternowska-Senior Research and Evaluation Specialist of UNICEF Office of Research – Innocenti.
Dr. Catherine Maternowska was presenting in the meeting At the meeting, Dr. Catherine Maternowska introduced the multi-country study on violence among children, the research steps as well as its results. Prof. Michael Dunne- Co-director of ICHR – also shared experiences and added findings from his research and the team on bullying situation in schools in Vietnam and in some other countries. Prof. Michael Dunne was discussing with the ICHR staff and young lecturers of Public health faculty. On this occasion, the staff of the Faculty of Public Health and ICHR also raised many questions and received enthusiasm feedbacks from Prof. Michael Dunne and Dr. Maternowska Catherine.
