The 13th international conference on Public Health among Greater Mekong Sub-Regional countries on "Enhancing transdisciplinary collaborations on Education and Research to tackle priority public health issues in the new Era" has following objectives:
An abstract should be in one paragraph with no more 350 words, describing the major aspects of the entire paper in a prescribed sequence that includes: 1) Introduction: The overall purpose of the study and the research problem(s) you investigated; 2) Objective(s): The outcomes that you aim to achieve by conducting research; 3) Method: The basic design of the study; 4) Results: Major findings or trends found as a result of your analysis; and, 5) Conclusions: a brief summary of your interpretations and conclusions. The Meeting between Prof. Michael Dunne and Young staff of Faculty of Public Health
During the time working in Hue from 11/08 to 16/08/2012, Prof Michael Dunne had a meeting with young staff of Faculty of Public Health who are full of young enthusiasm, dynamic and good at professional knowledge and skills. It was presided by Dean of the Faculty: Assoc. Prof. Vo Van Thang.
Firstly, Prof Michael Dunne talked about main activities of ICCCHR in the past time and the center‘s plan in which he emphasized the good news that Ms. Linda Murray has protected Doctoral Thesis successfully. It is the thesis implemented according to the collaborative program between Queensland University of Technology-Australia and Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy-Vietnam. In addition, the center accepted to support three other PhD research (two Vietnamese graduate students and one Australian). Especially, at the beginning of 8/2012, Rector of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy-Prof. Cao Ngoc Thanh and Assoc. Prof. Vo Van Thang-Dean of Faculty of Public Health had a visit and worked with Queensland University of Technology-Australia. They have got a great success in cooperation on many fields in the next few years.
