The 13th international conference on Public Health among Greater Mekong Sub-Regional countries on "Enhancing transdisciplinary collaborations on Education and Research to tackle priority public health issues in the new Era" has following objectives:
An abstract should be in one paragraph with no more 350 words, describing the major aspects of the entire paper in a prescribed sequence that includes: 1) Introduction: The overall purpose of the study and the research problem(s) you investigated; 2) Objective(s): The outcomes that you aim to achieve by conducting research; 3) Method: The basic design of the study; 4) Results: Major findings or trends found as a result of your analysis; and, 5) Conclusions: a brief summary of your interpretations and conclusions. Frontiers in Public Health Education and PromotionCALL FOR PARTICIPATION
Dear Colleague:
We welcome your article contribution to a forthcoming issue of Frontiers in Public Health Education and Promotion entitled “Evidence-Based Policy Making and Practice in Public Health: Research from Southeast Asia.” The goal of this special issue (organized as a Research Topic) is to share information presented at the 7th Annual International Conference on Public Health among the Greater Mekong Sub-Regional Countries, held September 26-27, 2015 in Hue, Vietnam. Other recent research suitable for advancing health and healthcare in Southeast Asia is also welcome. All who presented papers or posters at the 7th Annual International Conference, or are working in the broad field of public health, are encouraged to submit manuscripts to be considered for publication through peer-review. Appropriate topics include health literacy, health promotion, health systems management, environmental and occupational health, nutrition and food safety, epidemiology of communicable and non-communicable diseases, reproductive and sexual health, and mental health. Research and thought pieces are sought that have national, regional or world-wide implications for evidence-based policy or practice.
All manuscripts are expected to be submitted in English and should meet international standards for publication quality. A variety of articles types will be accepted, including Evaluation studies and Case Studies. As with most open access publications, authors are charged a fee upon acceptance of their manuscript for publication. Fee levels are based on the various article types (see link above) and manuscripts with a Corresponding Author from Low Income Countries are welcome to apply to Frontiers Waiver program for consideration of a full or partial waiver. In addition, fees are greatly reduced for articles submitted to Frontiers through Research Topics. Deadlines for this Research Topic:
