International PhD Projects

The following projects are carried out by QUT PhD students under the co-supervisions of QUT and HUMP’s Professors and are carried out in Central and Highland provinces of Vietnam.  

The Research Project "Epidemiology of Snakebites in Can Tho City" in 2018

The Institute for Community Health Research in cooperation with the Bernhard Nocht Institute of Tropical Medicine - Hamburg, Germany, and the Health Department of Can Tho City has implemented the survey named "Epidemiology and Management of Snakebite " in 2018.

“Hue Healthy Adolescent Cohort Study: Promotion of healthy vision and prevention of non-communicable diseases”

Institute for Community Health Research, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy in collaboration with Tokyo Medical and Dental University, Japan conducted a study on improving eye vision and prevention of non-communicable diseases for children in five secondary schools in Hue City, Thua Thien Hue province.

Visiting Researchers and Students

Research projects in collaboration with Health Departments of 5 provinces in Central and Highland area of Vietnam

Selected research projects among all applications were provided technical support and funding by ICHR. Our activities aim  to provide scientific evidence to assist health care planning at the local level, while also enhancing the scientific research skills of provincial health  staff.
